Europe, 1889. The night belongs to fewer of them every year. The last five vampire clans gather their teenage heirs in a Sicilian fortress to teach them to survive — and to find the one prophesied to choose between eternal night and the daylight that would dissolve them.
A coming-of-age epic filmed across Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Croatia, Latvia and Belgium. Two seasons, twenty-six episodes. Based on Ulrike Schweikert's Die Erben der Nacht.
