Tindra Film is an independent production company founded in 2021 in Berlin by Maria von Heland and Johnny West. We create films and series that reflect our time — combining strong storytelling with a commitment to new voices and new tools.

We believe stories are how we understand the world. In an age of AI, our aim is to protect and amplify human creativity — combining classical filmmaking with new tools so that artists can speak with clearer voices and audiences continue to find meaning through stories.

Our first production, Sunshine Eyes — written and directed inside the Berlin lockdown — won the International Panorama Jury Award at Séries Mania. Working together with Lukas Neff.
